ZILONG WANG

I am the founder and CEO of FutureBio. I grew up in a family that ran a small business, which instilled in me a strong appreciation for communication and idea exchange. I truly enjoy engaging with people, and I find it incredibly rewarding when multiple minds come together to collaborate and work toward a shared vision. After earning my Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore, I worked as a postdoc & project scientist in Jay Keasling’s Lab at UC Berkeley. My research has long been dedicated to novel product biosynthesis and synthetic biology technology development, spanning from my undergraduate years to my career as a scientist. With deep expertise in creating valuable bio-based products, I co-founded this company with Seokjung to commercialize these technologies. My goal is to drive a green and sustainable future through biorenewable manufacturing, developing products that benefit the climate, environment, and human health.
